with people and Creation (and find Law).
Respect indicates recognition of the autonomy of things and others apart from the individuated self.
When animals are fed they exhibit respect. It is the same with people.
Respect is also an indicator of regard for the concept of law, or acceptable behaviour for the purpose of sociability.
Honesty and integrity are likely when respect is a factor in relations. When disrespectful behaviour is exhibited, some law, protocol or convention is usually being broken or ignored.
Respect in relations usually indicates congeniality, good will and law are secure.
The quality of respect engenders other humanising traits.
